A mix of single and double-track trails with a few rolling hills, a great introduction to Maine trail running. This race is dedicated to CHRIS DOUGLASS, a Trail Monster runner and adventurer who’s life ended too soon.

Two laps of an exceptionally hilly, technical single-track trail loop that takes you up and down Bradbury Mountain more times than you can count. If you’re not begging for mercy during the first lap you will be on the second.

A crazy twisting, turning 12 mile loop of single-track trails filled with rocks, roots, bumps and hills. Save something for the last two miles, this is where you will earn your bruises.

I’M A BAD ASS, SIGN ME UP FOR ALL THREE

Runners completing all three races of the Bradbury Mountain Trail Running Series will receive a special Bad Ass prize, and will be known throughout the land as a Trail Running Bad Ass.

 

All races are held at Bradbury Mountain State Park
528 Hallowell Road, Pownal, ME

Start time for all races: 9:00 AM

Registration/number pick-up will begin at 8:00 AM

All preregistered runners will receive a t-shirt, race day entries (if the cap is not met) may get a shirt after the race.

EACH RACE IS CAPPED AT 175 ENTRIES

When this number is reached registration will close and no more entries will be accepted. There is no waiting list. If we reach this number before race day there will be no race day registration. NO EXCEPTIONS. We do this to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, and because of limited parking at Bradbury Mountain State Park.
It’s about quality, not quantity.

Updates on the number of entries remaining will appear on the TMR home page.

  • Be aware that trails are open to other users of the park during the race, including mountain bikes
  • Please do not wear headphones during the race, it is important to hear what’s going on around you: “Dude, you’re off course!”
  • Do not drop any trash on the trail, leave cups and other trash near the aid stations

Peaks Ultra - 50, 100, 150, 200, 500

Ultra Trail Run - 50, 100, 150, 200, and 500 MILE TRAIL. The 50 milers will do the first 40 miles on the East side of Route 100 and then they will do their last ten miles on the west side. The 50 mile course is very scenic but also very demanding. The longer races will all do a rugged 10 mile loop in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Runners will repeat the loops 10, 15, 20, or 50 times. Each loop has 2400 vertical therefore the 30 miler will feature 7,200, 100 miler will feature 24,000, 150 miler will feature 36,000, 200 miler will feature 48,000 and 500 miler will feature 120,000 elevation change.
