7 Sisters Trail Race

9:00 am

An out-and-back roller coaster ride along the ridge line of the Mt. Holyoke Range on a single-track trail, with numerous scenic overlooks of the Pioneer Valley including views of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst College, Hampshire College, and the Town of Amherst, the Connecticut River and Northampton.

The course is extremely hilly with 3,700 feet of climb consisting of many steep hills, with hazardous footing in places due to the many sharp basalt rocks that comprise the elevated ridge of the Mt. Holyoke Range. There are five aid stations along the route at approximately 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 miles. We strongly urge you to carry your own water supply since it can be quite warm on race day.

Pack Monadnock 10 Miler

9:00 am

This course was designed to give runners a hill-climb challenge and to test strength and endurance. The race starts on Highland St near Wilton Lnydeborough High School. It runs uphill for the first mile. At the first mile marker, the course flattens out as it turns onto Sand Hill Road (gravel) and remains flat for about one half mile. There will be a rolling uphill grade as Sand Hill road ends and merges onto Davisville Road (paved) through mile three.
